Welcome to the Ricardodelgadoart Charlie Chaplin film festival!

Kid Auto Races at Venice Beach (1914?)
I think this is the first appearance of Chaplin's iconic 'Tramp' character.
It's only six minutes long. Watch and peek into post-Victorian Era Los Angeles.

I'm gonna try and post a new short every day for a week.

It sure beats the monotony of my stupid artwork, doesn't it?

X-Men origins: Wolverine- Hindenberg storyboards (?!)

I still don't know why I did these storyboards.  I had just been hired and before starting on the actual movie a few of us storyboarders were asked to do historical boards for 'marketing purposes'.

Regardless, here they are, published for the first time.

Star Wars- Clone Wars: Spider Assassin Droid close up sketch

It was in the script that the tiny spiders would sprout up and out from the assassin droid's body.

Here's a still from the episode...

...as well as the toy that was made out of it! Pretty cool stuff.
I'm proud of this one.

Star Wars: Clone Wars- Assassin Spider Droid

I think this was for one of the second season episodes. They made a toy out of it!

Disney's Dinosaur- Alvarezsaurus

I don't mind the color scheme but some of my ideas like rooster spurs were really too wacky.

Disney's Dinosaur- Miasaura 2

A little too close to the Parasaurolophus color design I posted earlier, but oh well.

Let's rank the 007s

1) Sean Connery. He Personifies Bond. Don't come back here if you think otherwise.

2) Sean Connery. Out of respect because nobody comes close.

3) George Lazenby, because his picture is one of the best, even better than the last couple of Connery 007 films.

4) Daniel Craig, because he gets the whole 'Bond is an educated thug' idea like Connery.

5) Timothy Dalton, not bad but needs a dash of humor. Tries too hard.

6) Pierce Brosnan. I like Goldeneye, but please open your eyes when you fire the weapons, sir.

7) Nice ruffles.

Well, that's all the time we have today, folks:)

The Lovely Mrs. Norman Bates :)

This frame is of course, from Barbie goes to Manhattan, aka Psycho, 1960, directed by Alfred Hitchcock.

I miss Burgers and Pizza:(

Disney's Dinosaur- Ornithomimus

I'm on a diet, so I'm too grumpy to remember what bird this color scheme is based on.

Disney's Dinosaur- Pachycephalosaurus

I had a pretty mediocre tuna sandwich for dinner.

David Roberts article from Hieroglyph

I wrote this article for the back of the first issue of Hieroglyph, nearly a decade and a half ago, expressing my esteem for David Roberts' artwork and its influence over my comic book, and so here it is.
